Overview of Cosmetic Rhinoplasty

I carry out hundreds of surgeries on noses every year and I am recognised as one of the country’s leading experts in both functional rhinoplasty, which is surgery that ensures a nose is working well, and aesthetic surgery of the nose, that is the external appearance of the nose.

As a Consultant Rhinologist, ENT doctor and facial plastic surgeon, I bring a high level of expertise and understanding of both external appearance and internal nose function. I have a deep understanding of nasal function, airflow and structure. This means that even in cosmetic cases, I never compromise the integrity of the nose. A nose should not only look good; it should work well and age naturally with you.

What sets my approach apart is simple: it’s about creating a nose that looks as though you could have been born with it. Subtle, refined and in proportion. After cosmetic rhinoplasty your nose should remain sympathetic to your face and features. Cosmetic Rhinoplasty surgery is never a “one-size-fits-all” result and I ensure my patients have realistic expectations of their end result.

In cosmetic rhinoplasty, less is often more. My goal is always to help you feel more confident in your own skin, without others noticing you’ve “had something done.”

Procedures I offer…

Cosmetic Rhinoplasty

For all my cosmetic rhinoplasty patients, I’ll take time to understand your facial anatomy, your motivations, and what bothers you most – then tailor a surgical plan that respects both form and function. It often entails reshaping the external nose to improve size, symmetry, or profile.

Revision Rhinoplasty

Many patients come to see me after previous surgery elsewhere that left them unhappy with the way their nose looks or functions. Revision surgery is one of the most complex aspects of rhinoplasty and it requires experience, honesty and clear communication to ensure the patient is happy after a second (or even third or fourth!) procedure. Where a previous surgeon has created a functional problem – like snoring or breathing problems – it takes specialist care to correct it, while mindful of aesthetic preferences.

Secondary (Revision) Rhinoplasty

Cosmetic and Functional Rhinoplasty

Cosmetic and Functional Rhinoplasty is a dual surgery which addresses cosmetic concerns while also correcting underlying functional problems, including even very challenging structural issues.

Septorhinoplasty

If medical treatments are ineffective, septoplasty—a procedure to straighten the nasal septum—may be recommended. This surgery improves airflow and can significantly enhance breathing and quality of life.
